John Sumser's 2008 Cleveland Recruiting Roadshow

Bringing Physical Community to Social Networks

The goal of each individual Recruiting Roadshow is to cause members of the local recruiting world who may not have easy access to the industry’s network infrastructure to have access to each other.

In other words, the networking that happens at every Recruiting Roadshow is more important than any content that is distributed. We hold Recruiting Roadshows in order to make it possible for recruiters to network with other recruiters.

Thanks for registering for this wonderful event. Don't forget to spread the word and invite colleagues and friends in recruiting to join us at the Roadshow for a day of learning, networking and community.

Bringing Physical Community to Social Networks.
John Sumser says:
“For a very long time, we have behaved as if recruiting were a profession that is practiced identically from setting to setting.
The trouble is that the labor market is different from town to town with differing levels of demand, differing levels of supply and deeply differing manners and procedures. While the recruiting industry is globalized, the real labor market is excruciatingly local.”
John continues to say, “The goal of each individual Recruiting Roadshow is to cause members of the local recruiting world who may not have easy access to the industry’s network infrastructure to have access to each other.”
